Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc receives Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that the traditional ties between the two countries and between the Vietnamese MPS with relevant Chinese agencies have been thriving over the past time.

Particularly, the cooperationbetween the two countries in the fight against drug-related crime, high-tech crime, human trafficking gained big successes, contributing to strengthening  mutual trust and promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership.

The deputy minister also suggested that the two sides should promote cooperation in ensuring security for high-ranking delegations of one country visiting the other as well as protect citizens, organizations and entrepreneurs of one country living, studying and working in the other country. The host also suggested expanding cooperation in capacity building for public security officers of the two countries.

Both sides should continue to exchange working visits and hold high-ranking level meetings as well as effectively exploit the existing cooperative mechanisms in such important fields such as national security, national defense and foreign affairs.

He also extended the best wishes to Mr. Guo Shengkun, Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Zhao Kezhi Minister of Public Security of China, Mr. Chen Wenqing Minister of State Security of China, and Mr. Wang Ning Commander of the People’s Armed Police of China as well as other Chinese high-ranking officials on the occasion of the upcoming lunar New Year.

The deputy minister wished Mr. Xiong Bo, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam and staff of the Chinese Embassy, a happy and successful New Year.

Sincerely thanking to Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc for his warm and kind reception, Mr. Xiong Bo affirmed that the cooperation between the Vietnamese MPS and relevant Chinese agencies has become more practical and effective, contributing to maintaining security and stability of each country.
