Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc works with Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting

Director of the Department, Senior Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan briefed the Deputy Minister on the force’s organization and assigned equipment as well as the force’s task performance in the past time.

Particularly, the Department well coordinated with a team of the National Assembly Inspection in inspecting the implementation of regulations and laws on fire prevention and fighting in 13 ministries, 10 provinces and 5 major enterprises in the period of 2014-2018.

The Department also cooperated with the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative, Judicial Reforms to build a draft decree replacing Decree No. 79/2014/ND-CP of the Government and advise the Ministry of Public Security to issue Directive No. 07/CT-BCA on strengthening rescue work in the new situation.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked the Department to fulfil all given tasks and coordinate with relevant agencies to amend, supplement and contribute to building laws, decrees and circulars related to fire prevention and fighting.

He also asked the force to pay more attention to its professional work, promote checks and inspections, and actively disseminate information and regulations on fire prevention and safety.
