Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc works with Hanoi’s Traffic Police

Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on January 18 worked with the Traffic Police Office under Hanoi Municipal Police Department.

According to a report by Senior Colonel Duong Duc Hai, Head of the Hanoi Traffic Police Office, the situation of traffic order and safety in the city was ensured, traffic jams were eased and the number of traffic accidents as well as the tolls in traffic accidents reduced last year.

During the year, the Traffic Police Force of Hanoi participated in ensuring safety for Party and State leaders, visiting international delegations as well as political and cultural events held in the city and they did a good job.

The city’s traffic police force also promoted dissemination of traffic order and safety regulations with various interesting activities while it focused on the Party building and force building.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc applauded the efforts and achievements of the traffic police force of Hanoi in 2019.

He wished that the Hanoi traffic police force would reach further achievements in 2020 so as to ensure traffic order and safety in the capital city.

He asked the traffic police force to seriously implement the approved working plans and Decree 100/2019/NĐ-CP regulating blood alcohol concentration limits for drivers.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also took this chance to extend best wishes to all officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Office of Hanoi on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year festival.
