Over the past time, Bac Giang province has been effectively implemeting 7 projects on ensuring security and order and building the “All people protecting national security” movement, while issuing several guiding documents on improving the effectiveness of the building of the movement and forming the people’s security posture in line with the national defense posture, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety and serving the socio-economic development of the province.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long expressed his delight at positive results of Bac Giang province in general, Tan Yen district and Hop Duc commune in particular, in promoting the “All people protecting national security” movement over the past time, saying that the province had mobilized many mass organizations to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots as well as encouraged people to be proactive and creative in combating crimes and maintaining security and order.
Regarding key tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Minister suggested that Bac Giang province’s Party committees and authorities at all levels should grasp and strictly implement guiding documents issued by the Party, the Government and the Minsitry of Public Security on promoting the “All people protecting national security” movement, pay due attention to raising Party members, officials and people’s awareness of the significance of the role of the mass in maintaining security and order, and regularly renovate the contents, forms, and methods of building the “All people protecting national security” movement, with a view to mobilizing the entire people to participate in the movement.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long also requested the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department, as the core force in ensuring security and order, should actively advise the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, the Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province to direct relevant agencies and units to join police forces in maintaining security and order, while thoroughly grasping the security situation and effectively combating crimes in the province, so as to reduce the crime rate in Bac Giang.
At the festival, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long awarded MPS certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement, and presented gifts to wounded and sick war veterans, people with meritorious service and policy beneficiary families in Hop Duc commune.
