Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long inspects Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department's work

PSNews - Inspection Delegation No.4 of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long conducted an inspection of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department in 2024, on November 22nd, 2024.

Earlier, a working group of the inspection delegation headed by Deputy Chief of the Office of MPS Major General Hoang Anh Tuyen had inspected subordinate units and agencies of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department.

According to inspection results, the working group evaluated that the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department had directed its subordinate units and agencies to mobilize forces and means to ensure local security and safety; as a result, no major security incident occurred in the province.

In addition, the local police also ensured absolute security and safety for major events of the country and the province as well as visits of Party and State leaders as well as international delegations to the province.

The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department also took synchronous professional measures to prevent and combat all types of crime, social evils and violations of laws, and investigated and cleared serious criminal cases in a short time.

The local police’s effort was highly appreciated by the public.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long appreciated and applauded the achievements of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Force over the past time.

Regarding key tasks to be implemented in the coming time, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested that the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department should well advise the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee on the organization of Party congresses at all local levels in the buildup to the 14th National Party Congress.

The Deputy Minister also asked the local police to speed up the digital transformation process and invest more in technical equipment for the grassroots police force, while taking synchronous measures to grasp the security situation in the province and effectively prevent and combat all types of crime, especially cybercrime.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested leaders of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department to continuously renovate their thinking, perception and action, as well as promote the pioneering and exemplary role of leaders in all aspects of police work.
