Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son meets retired public security officers in Da Nang

PSNews – The Municipal Police of Da Nang organized a meeting on August 17 of Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces and generations of former senior leaders and officers of the Public Security Forces of Quang Nam and Da Nang.

The event saw the presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Senior Colonel Le Van Tam, Director of Da Nang Police Department, briefed the participants on various activities and achievements of the city’s police force in the past few years and action plans in the coming time, particularly the work of ensuring political security, social order and safety at local important events and festivals.

Tam also extended his best wishes of health to all of the participants, hoping that they would continue to make recommendations and proposals in support of the Municipal Police to accomplish all given tasks.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son briefed the participants on various activities of the Ministry of Public Security, particularly the reorganization of the force structure as well as the tasks of ensuring security and order in the current situation.

Deputy Minister Son also praised the Municipal Police Department for its effort to overcome all difficulties and fulfil the given missions, and to curb criminal activities.

He also hoped that the whole police force of Da Nang, with the support of the retired police officers, would unite and strive to fulfil all political missions, deserving the trust of the Party, the Public Security force and the people.
