At the reception, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son stressed that, over the past 45 years, since the establishment of diplomatic ties (January 25, 1973 -2018), the cooperation and relations between Vietnam and Finland have enjoyed positive developments in various areas, including politics, economics, investment and trade, security, defense, culture and education and training.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son emphasized that the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam appreciates the products in the areas of cyber security, high technology, water management, education and training from Finland.

He expressed his hope that the cooperative ties between the MPS of Vietnam and Finish companies would be further boosted. He also emphasized that the MPS of Vietnam would create favorable conditions, ensure security and safety for Finish enterprises to invest in Vietnam.

Mr. Mika Tapani Lintila highly appreciated the fine relations between Vietnam and Finland and good results of the bilateral cooperation in the past time, and emphasized that he would do his best to tighten the ties and promote cooperation between the two countries.

He also promised to discuss with the Finish Minister of the Interior on measures to promote the implementation of cooperation contents in the Memorandum of Understanding on crime prevention and combat sided by the MPS of Vietnam and the Ministry of the Interior of Finland.
