Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits People’s Police Higher School 5

PSNews – Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized that the Police Higher School should focus on training practical skills for its students.

The People’s Police Higher School 5 (T52, based in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam) organized a ceremony to open the new academic year.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son attended the event.

Senior Colonel Cao Dang Nuoi, Rector of the School, said that in the previous academic year, the school expanded some new majors, raising the number of training majors to 10.

The school has 252 teachers and educational managers.

 In the 2017-2018 academic year, the school has enrolled 341 students in courses of 8 different majors. This is considered an important year in the development of the school.

During the recent APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, the T52 deployed 350 students to Da Nang to support the Da Nang Municipal Police in maintaining security and order, contributing to building a “safe, friendly and attractive” Vietnam and leaving a good impression of the Police of Vietnam on the international friends.

Additionally, teachers and students of the school in association with the local authorities efficiently supported local people in overcoming the aftermath of storm No.12 and recent floods.

On the occasion of the new school year and the Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son extended warm greetings to teachers, cadres, employees and all students of T52, and expressed his hope that they would continue to promote their outcomes the 2016-2017 school year, strive for the more achievements in the 2017-2018 school year, and always live up to the honor and tradition of the Police Force in general and the T52 in particular.
