Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Da Nang

PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son on July 26 visited and inquired after Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy beneficiaries in Da Nang.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mother Le Thi Thoi (98) with her husband and two children fallen during the war, and Mother Phan Thi Phung (90) with her husband and daughter– war martyrs.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and the delegation also visited the family of martyr Phan Cong Viet, former officer of the Criminal Police Office under the Da Nang Municipal Police Department, who died performing his duty.

At the meetings with the national contributors, Deputy Minister Son expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and the family members of the martyrs, and showed empathy for their sufferings. He also asked the Municipal Police of Da Nang and the 199 Hospital under the MPS to take good care of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and the martyrs’ families.

On the same day, Deputy Minister Son and the delegation offered incense and paid tribute to martyrs at the Cemetery in Hoa Tien commune, attended a meeting with local Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers and policy beneficiaries organized by the authority of Hoa Vang district.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son presented gifts to all local Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers and policy beneficiaries in Hoa Vang.
