Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits wounded soldiers in Bac Ninh

PSNews - General Son hoped that they will always promote the quality of soldiers, live a happy and healthy life to witness the development of Vietnam, continuing to be typical examples for young generations' reference.

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers (July 27, 1947 – 2018), a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on July 23 visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers and martyrs’ families in Thuan Thanh, Bac Ninh.

Currently, there are 96 serious wounded soldiers who come from 23 provinces and cities across the country receiving treatment and rehabilitation at the Thuan Thanh Infirmary Center including wounded soldiers in the period against French colonialism and American empire.

In particular, Senior Lieutenant Dinh Van Duong the only survivor after the plane crash in Hoa Lac in 2014 also receives treatment here.

Sharing pain and loss with wounded soldiers in the Thuan Thanh Infirmary Center, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son expressed his delight when seeing them being treated and cared in a thoughtful way here.

He highly appreciated all of efforts and dedications of the martyrs and wounded soldiers over the past while affirming that the Party, the State and people always remember and appreciate their contributions and sacrifices.

General Son hoped that they will always promote the quality of soldiers, live a happy and healthy life to witness the development of Vietnam, continuing to be typical examples for young generations' reference.

At the visit, he handed over gifts of the Ministry of Public Security to 96 wounded soldiers, sent the regards of Minister To Lam to each comrade and their relatives as well as presented VND 50 million to the Thuan Thanh Infirmary Center.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also thanked doctors, nurses and staffs of the Thuan Thanh Infirmary Center for taking good care of wounded soldiers.
