Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Binh Thuan Police

PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on July 12 afternoon visited and worked with the Binh Thuan Provincial Police to inspect its working performance on the first half of 2018.

At the meeting, leaders of the Binh Thuan Provincial Police briefed Lieutenant General Son and participants on the local situation of political security, social order and safety and its task performance in the first half of 2018 as well as its working plans for the second half of the year.

Addressing the working session, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son recognized and praised achievements as well as efforts of the officers and soldiers of the Binh Thuan Provincial Police over the past 6 months of 2018. He also highly appreciated responsibility and skillful manners of the unit in dealing with public disturbances in the area. 

Agreeing with its working plans for second half of 2018, Deputy Minister Son urged the Binh Thuan Provincial Police to focus on grasping the situation, making good forecasts on situational developments, and actively advise local authorities on security and order issues, as well as closely cooperating with other arm forces to investigate major criminal cases.  

Deputy Minister also asked the police to attach importance to enhance effectiveness of the "All people protecting national security" emulation, force building as well as training of police officers and soldiers. Additionally, the Binh Thuan Provincial Police should also focus on investment of facilities and the implementation of organizational structure improvement.
