Particularly, the provincial police grasped the local security and order situation and advised the local authorities at various levels to ensure local security and order, promptly detected and stopped acts of taking advantage of the cyber space to provoke disturbances in the province.

Since the beginning of 2018, the provincial police have implemented a number of preventive measures to prevent crimes while intensifying the fight against such crimes as theft, robbery and other kind of social evils.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the efforts and achievements by the provincial police of Dak Nong. He also thanked the province’s Party committees and authorities at all levels and the people of Dak Nong for their close cooperation and effective supports for the police forces in general and the police of Dak Nong in particular.

Deputy Minister Son noted that Dak Nong is a mountainous province with a long border line with Cambodia. In recent years, uncontrolled flows of people from other areas, mostly Northern provinces, have moved to Dak Nong, which has triggered a complex situation of local security and order, facilitating the emergence of crimes. As a result, the provincial police force should make more effort to manage the situation.

He asked the provincial police to enhance attack on all kinds of crimes, particularly theft, gambling, drug-related crime and deforestation in order to protect the peaceful life of the people.
