Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Ninh Binh Police

PSNews-On the afternoon of August 9, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security led a mission of the Ministry of Public Security to visit and inspect the local police’s implementation of the task of ensuring security and order in Ninh Binh.

Senior Colonel Dinh Hoang Dung, Director of the Ninh Binh Police Department, briefed the deputy minister and the delegation on the local security situation over the past time. He stressed that the provincial police had well performed the political tasks; closely followed and grasp local situations; actively advised local Party committees and administrations on promptly settling complicated cases of security and order; ensured absolute security and safety during holidays and for various activities of leaders of the Party, State and international delegations while visiting and working in the province.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son acknowledged and praised achievements of the Ninh Binh Police in the past time. He also stressed that Ninh Binh was a strategic area, home to both favorable factors for development and potentials for security issues. In order to maintain political security, ensure social order and safety in the province, the deputy minister suggested the Ninh Binh Provincial Police focus on implementing some key tasks, solving complex issues of religions and rural security; step up the fight against crimes; and raise the efficiency of state management over security and order.

In addition, each unit, officer and soldier of the provincial police force should efficiently carry out mass mobilization work and raise the quality and effectiveness of the movement “All people protecting national security.” The deputy minister also required the provincial police to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations in mobilizing people to actively participate in reporting crimes, and fighting crimes and social evils.
