Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Tay Ninh Provincial Police

A working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), led by Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son, had a meeting with the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Department on November 7.

According to a report delivered by Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Trai, Director of Tay Ninh Provincial Police, the police force of the province has been active in grasping the situations and ensuring public order and security in border areas and religious communities as well as in crime prevention and suppression. Notably, the provincial police force cracked down on 65 criminal gangs, opened 9 campaigns to suppress crimes and law violations of all kinds, including black credit, gambling, drug-related crime and illegal exploitation of gravel and sand.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the efforts and achievements of the Provincial Police Department of Tay Ninh. He also asked the provincial police to actively grasp the situation and advise the local Party committees and authorities on solutions to complicated security issues, take professional measures to prevent and suppress crimes, and effectively resolve issues at the grassroots level while avoiding being put at a disadvantage or surprise and resolutely tackling complex criminal issues and removing hotspots of crime.
