Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Xuan Phuoc prison and Phu Yen police

PSNews – Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security led a delegation to work at the Xuan Phuoc prison and the Phu Yen Provincial Police. 

Colonel Tran Van Dung, Correctional Supervisor of the Xuan Phuoc Prison briefed Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son and participants on achievements and the current situation of the Xuan Phuoc Prison.

According to the report, despite many difficulties, the Xuan Phuoc Prison has well carried out the Party building, the force building; promoted political ideology education as well as the movement “All-people protecting national security”.

The Xuan Phuoc Prison staff has synchronously taken specialized measures following the slogan "Renovated, proactive, disciplined, responsible and efficient", in the first eight months of 2017.

Besides, the Xuan Phuoc Prison staff thoroughly grasped and strictly deployed the Law on Criminal Verdict Execution and Special Amnesty under the instructions of the Minister of Public Security. In particular, its prisoner management and vocational training have been boosted.

Speaking at the meeting with the staff of the prison, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised their efforts and achievements over the past time.

He instructed the Directorate Board of the Xuan Phuoc Prison to continuously implement Directive No.05-CT/TW (dated May 15, 2016) of the Politburo on studying and following the thought, morals and style of President Ho Chi Minh; 

and Resolution 4 of the 12th Party Central Committee on enhancing Party building and reorganization, preventing and rolling back degradation of political ideology, morals and lifestyle of Party members as well as manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” inside the Party;  

other resolutions and directives of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Police General Department of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance.

In addition, the prison should strengthen close relations with local people, relevant agencies and other armed forces in Phu Yen province, ensuring absolute safety for people’s daily life.

On the same day afternoon, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security had a meeting with the Phu Yen Provincial Police.
