Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security on June 21 visited and congratulated major press agencies on the occasion of the 94th Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2019).

The delegation, led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, visited and extended congratulations to the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Communist Review, People's Army Newspaper, Military Television and Broadcasting Center, as well as the Department for Information and Communications of the Public Security Forces.

During the meetings with the press agencies' leader boards, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh extended his congratulations and appreciation for their assistance, support and effective coordination with the People’s Public Security Forces in reflecting activities of the forces, including maintenance of security and order and the building of the People’s Security Forces on various press and media platforms.

 Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh spoke highly of the role of the press agencies in connecting the police forces with the people, contributing to the victories in protecting national security, social order and safety.

Deputy Minister Thanh hoped that the press agencies would further coordinate with the People’s Public Security Forces to support the forces in fulfilling their tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.

The press agencies' leaders, for their parts, thanked the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security for supporting and creating favorable conditions for their reporters while doing their jobs in public security agencies and units, in recent time.

They promised to further coordinate and to accompany with the People’s Public Security Forces in the cause of national construction and defense.
