Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh receives Ambassador of the EU to Vietnam

Hanoi - On September 22nd afternnoon, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam (MPS) received Mr. Bruno Angelet - Ambassador, Head of Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Thanh expressed his delight at the positive, rapid and strong developments in the recent past between Vietnam and EU in general, Vietnam and EU members in particular.

Mr. Thanh also stated that MPS of Vietnam always attaches importance to promote relations with EU based on a comprehensive, equal and mutually beneficial. 

MPS of Vietnam and related agencies of EU have accelerated cooperation in various fields, improving efficiency in maintaining social order, public safety and national security.

Senior Lieutenant General Thanh hoped that the cooperation between the two parties will continue to be deeply strengthened and developed in the coming time. 

Ambassador Bruno said the multilateral collaborations between the two parties have been constantly developing, including strategic fields. He also affirmed that Vietnam is one of the most partner of EU in ASEAN. 

In his capacity as Ambassador-Head of Delegation of the EU to Vietnam, Mr. Bruno will continue bringing the friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and EU to a new level.
