Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with French Defense Conseil International

PSNews - A high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recently worked with Mr. Samuel Fringant, Chairman of the Defense Conseil Intenational group (DCI) under the Ministry of Defense of France.

At the working session, the Chairman welcomed and briefed the MPS delegation on the functions, operation and orientations for development and cooperation of DCI with nations in the Asia – Pacific region, including Vietnam, in security, counter-terrorism and rescue.

According to Deputy Minister Thanh, the MPS of Vietnam wants to promote cooperation with the French side to exchange experience in training pilots, conducting surveillance, patrol, mobile and quick operations, as well as ensuring security and social order and rescue.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and the visiting delegation later visited the Embassy of Vietnam in France.

On the same day, under the authority of Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh, Major General Nguyen Thanh Son, Vice Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, under the MPS, worked with Mr. Stephane Ottavi, Vice Head of the International Department under the Ministry of the Interior of France.
