Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with Ha Tinh Police

PSNews-Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS) led a delegation to work with the Ha Tinh Provincial Police.

The Deputy Minister was accompanied by leaders of the MPS Office, General Department of Politics and other involved units under the MPS.

At the working session, Mr. Tran Nam Hong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and Senior Colonel Le Van Sao, Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police briefed the MPS’s working delegation on socio-economic development of the province as well as the police activities on the first half of 2017.

In the recent past, the provincial police have well grasped the situation and advised the local leadership on good solutions to cases related to local security and order. At the same time, the provincial police rolled out various plans to solve security and order complexities arisen in the province, contributing to maintaining security along the border, in land and at sea, as well as economic, internal, ideological and cultural security, and to protect important political, economic, cultural and social events held in the province.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and praised all achievements attained by the provincial police in the past time.

He also urged the Ha Tinh Provincial Police to continue to actively grasp the situation related to security and order and in time advise higher authorities on solutions to happenings, denying tactical surprises.

The Deputy Minister also asked the Provincial Police Department to promote force building, enhance the management of its officers, and seriously observe the police regulations and discipline as well as effectively implement the movement “Building on Policemen’s manners of bravery, humanity and devotedness to the people”.
