Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Son promoted to Senior Lieutenant General

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Public Security, General To Lam congratulated Deputy Minister Son on his promotion, and said that it is the Party, State and people’s recognition of his contributions to the cause of national security.

He hailed, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son is a typical Party member and public security officer with good political mettle, rich working experience and good moral virtues.

The Deputy Minister has always set a good example as an excellent leader and commander of the Public Security Forces. He has overcome all challenges and successfully fulfilled all assigned responsibilities, contributing positively to the cause of protecting national security and building the People's Public Security Forces, General Lam added.

For his part, General Son thanked the Party and State, especially Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, for the thoughtfulness and care for the Public Security Forces.
