At the meeting with teachers and students of the People's Security Academy, and University of Fire Prevention and Fighting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security appreciated and praised the effort and large contributions of generations of teachers and educational administrators of the two public security schools over the years.

At the meeting with the staff of the People's Security Academy, the deputy minister suggested that the school, with its position as a key higher education institution and a leading scientific research center, continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, improve its organization, staffing and policies to attract talents to work for the Public Security Forces in general and the school in particular.

The school leadership should also step up digital transformation, invest in modern facilities, equipment for teaching and learning activities, and improve lives of the school’s teachers and students while early completing its newly-renovated training programs in agreement with the directions of the higher-level authorities.

At the meeting with the staff and leadership of the Fire University, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that the university should promote scientific research, expand scientific and technological research cooperation with institutions inside and outside the Public Security Forces.

According to him, the school should closely combine summarization of practical activities and theoretical research, focus research on settlement of new issues arising from the reality as well as common issues in other countries in the region and the world while effectively exploiting global knowledge, experience and employing its available means and equipment for the development of its education and training in general and the fire and rescue sector.
