Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To inspects professional work of police in Vinh Phuc

A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To arrived in Vinh Phuc province to inspect the local police forces’ professional work in the first 10 months of 2022, on November 9.

After the comprehensive inspection, the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security had a meeting with leaders of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department.

The meeting also saw Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vinh Phuc People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Le Duy Thanh and other local civilian leaders.

Reports at the meeting read, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department actively advised the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee of Vinh Phuc on orientations and instructions to ensure order and maintain political security in the province as well as to solve related to domestic security, economic security and public security.

After listening to the reports, delegates discussed and evaluated the results of the task performance of the local police forces over the past time, as well as pointed out emerging issues, difficulties, obstacles, and limitations of the local police forces in performing their tasks.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Le Duy Thanh highly appreciated the role of the provincial police forces in ensuring political security, social order and safety, saying that this contributed positively to local socio-economic development.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the work results that the local police forces had achieved. 

The Deputy Minister also requested the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department to direct its police subunits to successfully fulfill their tasks and achieved all objectives set for 2022 while drawing up plans to attack all kinds of crimes during Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and spring festivals in 2023. 

He also asked Party committees of all local police units to focus on Party building and force building, and further strengthen the communal-level police force.
