Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To meets voters in Bac Ninh

Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and the National Assembly (NA) Delegation of Bac Ninh province had a meeting with voters in Yen Phong district on November 22.

The event also saw the presence of Ms. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the NA Delegation of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

On behalf of the NA Delegation of Bac Ninh province, Ms. Tran Thi Van briefed delegates at the event on the results of the 2nd session of the 15th National Assembly, agencies and local authorities’ feedbacks to voters’ opinions and queries raised at the meetings ahead of the 2nd session of 15th National Assembly.

Voters of Yen Phong district proposed the NA, the Government, central and local authorities to address a number of issues such as investment in equipment, facilities, and human resources for grassroots-level health care networks for prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic; special policies for forces working on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan acknowledged and clarified a number of voters' opinions and briefed the participants on the results of the implementation of political, economic and social tasks of the province in 2021.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To briefed participants on situations related to political security, social order and safety and the fight against crimes in the country.

Notably, the fight against crime and law violations in the field of information security, especially in fighting false information on social media,  contributed positively to maintaining political security and public order as well as controlling the pandemic.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To added that, the NA highly appreciated the outstanding efforts and achievements of the Public Security Forces, particularly the implementation of the projects on national population database on and issuance of citizen identity cards.

By October 30, more than 45,000 active-duty police officers had been deployed to all communes and townships nationwide. At present, each commune or township has at least 5 active-duty police officers.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highly appreciated the opinions and recommendations of voters, promising that the Bac Ninh Provincial NA Delegation will submit local voters’ opinions and queries to the NA, Government and central authorities.
