Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh presents gifts to Cham children

Some 100 Cham children in ward 1, district 8, Ho Chi Minh City, received gifts presented by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh on the occasion of the Full-Moon Festival.

The gift-giving event, which took place at the headquarter of the ward’s people’s committee on September 27, saw representatives from the Deputy PM’s family, the Public Security Newspaper and local Party organizations and authorities.

Over the past few years, the Cham community has received much care from local authorities and particularly from Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh.

Over the past years, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh has elicited the learning spirit among the Cham community, particularly children, in ward 1, said Head of the Anwar Mosque Kim So.

Mr. So sincerely thanked Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh and his family, the Public Security Newspaper and local authorities for their care and support for the Cham community.

In addition to the Cham children in ward 1 of district 8, mooncakes and T-shirts were also given to children in wards 7 and 11 of Tan Binh district.
