Dissemination of traffic regulations in schools

PSNews-Traffic Police Team 7 under the Hanoi Municipal Police cooperated with the Thanh Xuan District Police and local authorities to organize a talk to disseminate traffic regulations to students and teachers of Phuong Liet Secondary School.

Regarding the current traffic situation and instructing basic skills to ensure safety to the students, Captain Nguyen Duy Phuong stressed that the method of popularizing traffic laws depends on the ages of audiences so the speaker should find out an appropriate method for his/her audiences.

The talk also helped students well understand fundamental knowledge of the traffic laws as well as the current traffic situation in the locality. Via such a talk, police officers can also tell about the harms of narcotics. Thanks to the their using appropriate methods of information popularization and referring to interesting real stories, the police created a dynamic atmosphere and attracted the attention of the students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Headmaster of Phuong Liet Secondary School, said that the road safety dissemination is useful for not only the students, but also the teachers as they all can understand and grasp skills to drive vehicles in the proper way.

According to her, the school has attempted to integrate traffic dissemination into various extracurricular activities and classes of laws on drug prevention, anti-violence and sexual harassment.
