Emulation Grouping 12 reviews implementation of emulation movements

PSNews – Emulation Grouping 12 under the Ministry of Public Security on July 12 held a conference to review the implementation of the “For national security” movement in the first half of 2017.

The event saw the participation of Lieutenant General Le Van De, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the People’s Public Security Forces; leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People Committee and 8 provincial fire police sub-departments of Emulation Grouping 12.

At the event, a representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fire Police as the chair of Emulation Grouping 12 briefed participants on the outcomes of the movement in the first six months of 2017. Accordingly, all units of the group have actively implemented the movement in association with the movement "People's Public Security Forces studying and following Uncle Ho's 6 teachings", the campaign "Building on policemen’s qualities of bravery and humanity and devotedness to the people."

According to reports, there have been 249 fires occurring in the area under the management of the units of Emulation Grouping 12, causing no death but VND 86.75 of material losses. In the period, the force also organized 79 rescue missions and saved 124 victims.

During the conference, units of Emulation Grouping 12 also exchanged experiences, discussed and evaluated the results, shortcomings, difficulties and obstacles in implementing emulation movements. At the same time, delegates also sought approaches to better implement emulation movements in the last six months of the year.

Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Le Van De hailed the good organization and implementation of all emulation movements of Emulation Grouping 12 in the past six months.

He then asked the units to expand the movements and obtain more achievements, contributing to successfully fulfilling the tasks assigned by the Party and the State in fire prevention and fighting as well as to ensuring absolute political security, social order and safety.
