Emulation Grouping 6 reviews task performance in the first half of 2020

PSNews - Emulation Grouping 6 includes the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, the Department for Foreign Affairs, the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative, Judicial Reforms, the Department of Science, Strategy and History of Public Security, the Department for "All people protecting national security" Movement, and the Department of Police Records Management.

Emulation Grouping 6 comprising several specialized departments under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference on August 4 to review task performances of the units in the first half of 2020. Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Strategy and History of Public Security, chaired the meeting.

Emulation Grouping 6 includes the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, the Department for Foreign Affairs, the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative, Judicial Reforms, the Department of Science, Strategy and History of Public Security, the Department for "All people protecting national security" Movement, and the Department of Police Records Management.

As reported, in the first 6 months of 2020, the units of Emulation Grouping 6 grasped thoroughly Resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and mandates of the Minister on the major missions for the Public Security Forces in 2020, as well as other documents on political and ideological education, emulation and reward work. In particular, Emulation Grouping 6 carried out several practical activities and programmes to join common efforts in preventing and controlling COVID-19 pandemic.

Emulation Grouping 6 took creative approaches to expand the movement "For Homeland Security" in couple with the implementation of their political tasks. The member units actively participated in voluntary blood donation campaigns, in response to the call of General Secretary, President Nguyen Phu Trong and Minister To Lam. Emulation Grouping 6 also won high prizes at the 11th Public Security Mass Arts Festival.

At the conference, representatives of the units within the emulation grouping exchanged experience in conducting the emulation movements, pointed out shortcomings in conducting movements and put forth several solutions to further promote movements in the coming time, contributing to effectively implementing their assigned political tasks.

Representatives of the member units also agreed on key tasks for the last 6 months of 2020, focusing on the patriotic emulation movement as well as other emulation movements launched by the MPS.
