Emulation Grouping 8 and 9 review the force building work

PSNews – The General Department of Politics held a meeting to review the force building work in the first nine months of Emulation Groupings 8 and 9, on October 9, at the Kien Giang Provincial Police Headquarters.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy Director in charge of the General Department of Politics chaired the working session.

The meeting also saw representatives of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, departments and leaders of police units of the 16 Southeastern and Southwestern cities and provinces in.

In the first 9 months of 2017, the whole public security forces in general and the provincial-level member units within Emulation Groupings 8 and 9 in particular have focused on thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing many resolutions and directives of the Party, State and the Public Security Ministry.

The 16 provincial-level member units of Emulation Groupings 8 and 9 held political and ideological education drives for officers and soldiers themed "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and style; Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the Public Security Forces; and Building image of the brave and humane police officer in the people’s heart".

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam highly appreciated and applauded all achievements of the 16 member units over the past time. Besides, he also pointed out the central assignment of the force building in the time ahead.

He instructed the member units of Emulation Groupings 8 and 9 to promote ideological education for all officers and soldiers by drawing up detailed plans suitable for the real conditions in each locality, contributing to developing a clean, elite and strong force.
