Officers of the Environment Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security on May 31 joined hands to clean up beach in Minh Chau commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province.

The activity was part of the program, launched on May 31 by the Environment Police Department in collaboration with the Health Department under the Ministry of Public Security, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department and the Van Don District People’s Committee, in response to the World Environment Day (June 5) and the 2019 Vietnam Seas and Islands Week.

According to Major General Nhu Thi Minh Nguyet, Deputy Director of the Environment Police Department, the program is an opportunity for all people to affirm our strong determination and commitment to protect the sea environment and ecology.

She called on authorities and the people to deploy measures and practical actions to protect the sea environment for benefits of the nation and general development of the world.

Also on May 31, delegates and officers at the event joined hands to clean up beach and plant trees in Minh Chau commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province.

On the occasion, the delegation also presented to the Minh Chau Communal People’s Committee and for poor policy beneficiaries and students in the locality.
