As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's signing of the Decree on the establishment the Security Guard Department, the Steering Committee for the Celebration of the Ministry of Public Security had launched the literary and artistic composition contest and writing contest on the image of the security guard.
After more than 5 months of launching, the Organizing Committee had received 700 articles and 232 literary and artistic works.
Regarding the literary and artistic composition contest, the Competition Jury Council had selected outstanding entries for prizes in different genres: short stories, memoirs, poetry, music and photography, of which each had 4 A prizes, 11 B prizes, 19 C prizes, 36 Consolation prizes.
For the writing contest on the 70 years of development of the Security Guard Force, the Organizing Committee received 700 quality articles, which demonstrate the seriousness of writers in scientific research, in-depth analysis and time-consuming collection of precious documents on the glorious history of the Security Guard Force since its inception.
In their articles, the authors show different perspectives on the security guard work and the achievements, feats of arms and typical examples of the Security Guard Force during different periods.
The Organizing Committee also presented 47 awards, including 5 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 15 C prizes, 17 Consolation prizes for individual authors, and 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes and 5 Consolation prizes to groups of authors.
* Within the framework of the event, the Security Guard Command held the exhibition "People's Security Guard Force: 70 victorious years".
The exhibition introduces more than 200 photos and artifacts, many of which are displayed for the first time, giving a brief review of the history of the Security Guard Force with four main themes: Uncle Ho and Security Guard Force; Victorious years; Building of a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Security Guard Force; Honor and pride of the Vietnamese People's Security Guard Force.
