Fire police asked to be active in preventing fire

PSNews – The Department of Fire Prevention and Rescue (C66) of the Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review its task performance in 2016 and roll out tasks for 2017. Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister attended the conference. 

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh praised and highly valued all outcomes of C66 in 2016. However, C66 should continuously improve the quality of its work and overcome the remaining disadvantages and limitations, he underscored.

He also instructed, in time ahead, C66 should promote its role as a strategic advisor to leaders at all levels in implementing Directive No. 47, Resolution No.1635 of Prime Minister relating to fire prevention and rescue, and inspect all business facilities within the scope of C66.

According to Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, the force should continue taking synchronous measures, of which it should seriously punish fire prevention violations.

From now until the Lunar New Year, C66 should always put on the alert, particularly at public entertainment places, local festivals and crowded areas, so as to actively deal with any possible situations, to control fire on time, and to ensure safety for people in the festive season.
