“For Fatherland security” movement to be promoted

PSNews - Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the enthusiastic opinions and responsibilities of delegates and expressed his sympathy with officers and soldiers who work in Northern mountainous provinces.

Emulation Grouping 2 held a working session on April 12, to summarize its implementation of the movement “For Fatherland Security”, in Lao Cai. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Khao, Director of the Department of All-People Security Protection Movement briefed delegates on the movement’s results in 2016, and rolled out the central program for the movement in 2017.

Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the enthusiastic opinions and responsibilities of delegates and expressed his sympathy with officers and soldiers who work in Northern mountainous provinces.

He said that local police units should actively advise leaders of provincial party committees, people's councils and people's committees in well implementing the socio-economic policy, enhance emulation movements of the public security force in 2017; ensure political security and social order; and create a favorable investment environment.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also instructed the Department of All-People Security Protection Movement to creatively renew information dissemination activities, deal with difficulties of each locality in implementing this movement in 2017, contributing to raising people’s awareness of security and social order, especially among ethnic minority groups in the region.
