Former Public Security Deputy Minister receives Military Exploit Order

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, on October 19 handed a decision signed by the State President on awarding the Military Exploit Order to Senior Lieutenant General Bui Quang Ben, former Member of the Party Central Committee and former Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the meeting, under the authorization of the State President Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh presented the Military Exploit Order to the former vice minister for his large contributions to the building of the Public Security Forces, ensuring political security, social order and safety, as well as to the cause of national construction and defense.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leadership of the ministry, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh congratulated Senior Lieutenant General Bui Quang Ben, and expressed his gratitude to Ben for his contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation in general and to the development of the Public Security Forces in particular.

Ben served and held various positions in the Public Security Forces for over 40 years until he retired in 2016. The Military Exploit Order is the Party and State’s recognition of his contributions and achievements.
