The People’s Security University in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security’s Hospital 30-4 on December 8 held a blood donation festival in response to the “Blood Donation for Dear Comrades” program.

According to the university’s Youth Union program, this second edition in the 2018-2019 academic year was held to promote the vanguard spirit of the youth of the People’s Public Security Force for the community.

The event drew the participation of 600 young police officers of the university.

Voluntary blood donation has become a good tradition of the People’s Security University as it represents the noble deed and compassion of officers, students and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces toward their comrades and the community as a whole.

Speaking to the PSNews, Nguyen Huong Duong of the D26C1 class said it was the 5th time she had participated in a blood donation. “This is a meaningful activity, I think all people should have a more correct and positive view on blood donation,” she said.
