General Department of Logistics and Techniques presents gratitude houses to poor people in Tay Ninh

PSNews – A delegation of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques under the Ministry of Public Security, led by its director, Lieutenant General Le Van Minh on March 4 presented 3 gratitude houses to needy people in Tay Ninh province.

The recipients  are Nguyen Van Nam (66), Vo Thi Lanh (68) and Huynh Chanh Thi (51), residing in Thanh Dien commune, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province.

The three families are revolution contributors but currently living in a very difficult condition. The gratitude houses are part of gratitude activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques of the People's Public Security Forces (January, 25, 1948-2018), with the aim to improving the living conditions of poor people in remote localities.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Le Van Minh emphasized that, implementing the guidelines of the Party and State, over the past years, the Ministry of Public Security has made a large contribution and mobilized donors to share difficulties with policy families.

On this occasion, the Tay Ninh Provincial People Committee awarded the certificate of merit to the General Department of Logistics and Techniques for its gratitude activities in the area.
