General Department of Logistics - Techniques donates VND1.3 billion for flood victims

HANOI - Major General Nguyen Van Chuyen, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics - Techniques chaired the donation ceremony.

The Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics - Techniques held a donation ceremony on October 18th afternoon, supporting flood victims in the hardest hit locals including Ha Tinh and Quang Binh. 

Major General Nguyen Van Chuyen, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics - Techniques chaired the donation ceremony. 

The Central Vietnam is the most vulnerable compare to other regions of the country. With slogan "The leaves protect tattered ones", Major General Nguyen Van Chuyen urged all of the officers and soldiers to join hands, supporting flood victims in difficult condition. The General Department of Logistics - Techniques donated VND1.3 billion, contributing a part to help people. 

In addition, upon direction of the General Department of Logistics - Techniques, its Youth Union in collaboration with the Youth Union of Ministry of Public Security and the Youth Union of Ministry of Information and Communication will visit to the affected localities, presenting relief with 10 tons of rice; 1,200 boxes of noodles, medicines and other vital products, etc.
