General Department of Police launches new movement to promote police good manners

PSNews-The General Department of Police (G.D 2) under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a meeting to launch a movement titled “Building on the police’s manners of bravery, humanity and devotedness to the people”.

Reports at the Launching Ceremony said, the movement holds great significance as it is expected to create a big change in both awareness and action of all officers and soldiers, encouraging them to promote good manners, political stance and expertise; to improve their morals, manners, styles and attitudes; and to heighten sense of responsibility and devotedness to the people.

The deployment of the movement will contribute to effectively implementing Resolution No.4 of the Party Central Committee on strengthening Party building, preventing degradation of political ideology, ethics and lifestyle, and signs "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" inside the Party organization.

The implementation of the Movement within the G.D 2 is considered an important stage in realizing the key tasks of the “basic professional” year, in which priority is given to improving basic professional tactics along with criminal investigation; curb criminal activities.

At the launching ceremony, the G.D 2 announced the Decision to establish the Directing Board of the Movement.
