Party General Secretary To Lam visited the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Department, on the afternoon of January 5th.

The General Secretary led a delegation, including various high-ranking officials namely Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia, Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang, Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc and Commander of Military Region 7 Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang.

Reporting on the work results of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Department in 2024 at the working session, Director of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Bui Xuan Thang stated that the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Force in closely collaboration with the local military and border guard forces had taken synchronous measures to thoroughly grasp the security and order situation in the province and ensure national security and social order and safety along the borderline, denying any unexpected complicated security issues from arising.

Additionally, the provincial police department had launched multiple campaigns to strongly attack and suppress all types of crimes and law violations, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the province.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh also gave General Secretary To Lam a report on the province’s implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2024, the preparation for the Party congresses at all local levels for the 2025-2030 term, as well as the implementation of Resolution 18 on the organizational restructuring of the Party Committee of Binh Phuoc province.

Concluding the meeting, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged the effort of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee in overcoming difficulties to develop the local socio-economy and maintain national defense and security in the province over the past time.

The Party Chief requested that the province should focus on leveraging its strengths as an agricultural production area, prioritizing the implementation of inter-regional transportation projects, earmarking resources for breakthrough investments in education and healthcare, and building strong grassroots-level political systems to promptly address issues directly affecting people's lives.

General Secretary To Lam also praised the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Department for effectively building a strong grassroots-level police force, which is attached firmly to local communities, contributing largely to the reduction in crime and law violations.

The General Secretary stressed that the Binh Phuoc police force should coordinate with the local military force to ensure security and absolute safety for the Party congresses at all local levels in the buildup to the 14th National Party Congress, advise the local Party committees and authorities to mobilize the synergy of the entire political system and all people to build drug-free communes as well as effectively perform mass mobilization work, contributing to strengthening people’s trust in the Public Security Forces and encouraging them to actively join the local police’s effort in crime prevention and control.
