General To Lam extends Vietnamese traditional New Year greetings

PSNews  - On the occasion of the Vietnamese traditional New Year (Tet) 2022 - Year of the Tiger, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security has sent best wishes to all officers, soldiers, students and contractors at the Ministry of Public Security as well as retired officers, invalids and relatives of martyrs of the Public Security Forces.

"On the occasion of 2022 and the Lunar New Year of Tiger, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, I extend the warmest regards and best wishes to all leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, cadets, public security workers, retired public security officers, wounded public security officers, families of fallen public security officers as well as civil guard and security guard forces nationwide", the letter reads.

In his letter, General To Lam also highlighted that thanks to the sound leadership of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government, and the great support and assistance from the people, the Public Security Forces, in close coordination with the People's Army, other ministries, Central-level agencies and local authorities, have overcome all difficulties and successfully completed their tasks of ensuring national security, protecting absolute safety for the congresses of Party organizations at all levels, political, cultural and diplomatic events.

The forces continued to play a key role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, responding to natural disasters, conducting rescue and search missions, and natural disaster relief activities. They also maintained political security, social order and safety, effectively contributing to national socio-economic development and diplomatic achievements of the country.

The Minister of Public Security emphasized in his letter that 2022 is the important year for the Public Security Forces to implement the Resolutions of the 13th National Party and the Party Congress at all levels for the 2021-2026 term will be organized. Alongside opportunities and advantages, our country is facing many difficulties and challenges in terms of national security and public order.

Therefore, each officer, soldier and Party member working with the People's Public Security Forces should continue promoting the forces’ glorious heroic traditions while attaching great importance to Party and force building, upholding their sense of responsibility in serving the people, and implementing the six teachings of Uncle Ho to the Public Security Forces.

At the same time, all public security officers, soldiers and officials should try their best to successfully realize the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels, contributing to building strong, loyal and reliable People's Public Security Forces that serve as a main political force to protect the Party, State and people.

Minister To Lam also wish all comrades and their families good health, big success and happiness, in the new year!
