General To Lam meets Hung Yen voters

PSNews - The People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province on May 5 held a meeting between local voters and the province’s candidates for the 15th National Assembly (NA) for the 2021-2026 tenure.

The meeting saw General To Lam, Minister of Public Security and Mr. Do Tien Sy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Hung Yen’s 14th NA Delegation.

At the meeting, the local voters were briefed on the biographies and action plans of Group 1’s candidates for deputies of Hung Yen province to the 15th NA for the 2021-2026 tenure.

In his speech to the local voters, General To Lam assured that he will actively advise and propose to the NA and the Standing Committee of the NA to complete the legal system to institutionalize the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the 2013 Constitution.

He will also contribute ideas to the NA’s resolutions on major issues of the country, especially policies on national defense and security as well as building elite and modern armed forces.

Regarding his responsibilities as a NA deputy of Hung Yen province, Minister To Lam promised he will regularly meet local voters to collect their opinions and ideas, and convey local voters’ aspirations to the NA. He affirmed he will defend legal rights and interests of local voters.

At the meeting, local voters expressed their confidence in the candidates for the 15th National Assembly for the 2021-2026 tenure.
