Minister of Public Security General To Lam, as a member of the National Assembly delegation of Hung Yen province had a meeting with local voters in Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province to brief on the results of the 5th sitting of the 15th National Assembly, on June 28, 2023.

In his speech at the meeting with the local voters, General To Lam briefed them on the socio-economic situation in the country, as well as the work of ensuring security and order from the beginning of 2023 to the present.

According to him, since 2023, the Government has directed ministries, branches and localities to drastically and effectively implement key tasks and solutions on socio-economic development, so the country has achieved many outstanding and positive results in the first 6 months of this year.

Particularly, the macro-economy was basically stable, inflation was controlled, the economy grew at a comparatively high pace, and major balances are secured while administrative procedures continued to reform, national digital transformation and Project 06 was carried out nationwide at all levels, and national databases were being established and connected.

The work of inspection, prevention and fight against corruption, negativity and wastefulness was seriously carried out, contributing to building up people's confidence in the leadership of the Party, State, Government and local authorities.

During several campaigns on restoring traffic order and safety, the traffic police strictly handled traffic violations, especially driving under the influence; as a result, the number of traffic accidents as well as traffic toll reduced.
