As the Lunar New Year of the Dragon is coming, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security General To Lam, leading a working delegation visited and gave gifts to wounded and sick war veterans at the Thuan Thanh Wounded War Veterans Center (Bac Ninh province), on the afternoon of January 18.

The Thuan Thanh Wounded War Veterans Center is currently taking care of 93 wounded and sick war veterans, who have lost 81% or more of their health.

Even though they are suffering from injuries and pain, the war veterans always train themselves, strive to live happily and study according to Uncle Ho's teachings "Wounded soldiers are physically disabled but their soul and will is not".

General To Lam kindly inquired after the health and lives of war veterans, expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the wounded and sick war veterans of the center as well as the previous generations to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

On the occasion of the national traditional Tet, General To Lam wished that the wounded, sick war veterans and their families would have a peaceful and happy New Yea, be always optimistic, healthy, and set a shining example of courage and sacrifice for the next generation to follow and learn.
