Gratitude activities in Ly Son island implemented

PSNews - On March 21st afternoon and evening the delegation visited Small island and hosted an art performance in Great island.

On the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the Political Work Department (May 8th, 1967), the delegation of the Political Work Department under the Ministry of Public Security led by Major General Dao Gia Bao - Director of the Political Work Department in collaboration with the Quang Ngai Provincial Police implemented gratitude activities in Ly Son island on March 21st.

The delegation offered incense and flowery wreaths to heroic martyrs in the cemetery of Ly Son island, who sacrificed their lives for independence of the Fatherland. In addition, on March 21st afternoon and evening the delegation visited Small island and hosted an art performance in Great island.

According to Major General Dao Gia Bao, this gratitude activity represented one of the meaningful activities of officers and soldiers of the Political Work Department, aiming to foster political awareness in the public, and popularize the glorious traditions of the country in general and the Political Work Department in particular.

Additionally, this also provided a good opportunity for officers and soldiers of the Political Work Department to exchange experiences with the Ly Son District Police, as well as for the Public Security Music Troupe to entertain the local public security force and people in Ly Son island with their art performances.

He added that in the coming time, the Political Work Department will exert all-out efforts to fulfill their political assignments, especially playing their good role as an advisor in terms of political work to the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Public Security Ministry and the General Department of Politics

The same day, the delegation visited and offered gifts to families of needy officers in Ly Son island.
