Gratitude house handed over to Vietnamese Heroic Mother

PSNews – The Public Security Newspaper, the Duong Kinh District Police of the Hai Phong municipal Police and other donors presented a gratitude house for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Ty. 

This meaningful present is part of a charitable program of the Public Security Newspaper, local police units and donors on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Public Security Newspaper.

Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Ty is now 103 years old. Her husband and her only son sacrificed in the two wars against French colonialists and American imperialists. Currently, she lives with her daughter in a shanty flat.

On behalf of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ly Thi Ty’s family, her son-in-law thanked the Public Security Newspaper, the Duong Kinh District Police and donors for that significant gift. With the new home, the daughter and the son in-law can take better care of Mother Ly. The home also functions as the place to worship their family’s ancestors and heroic martyrs.

In addition, the Duong Kinh District Police will offer VND 1.5 million/month to Mother Ly, through her life.
