Guard Police High Command promotes youth’s activities

PSNews–The High Command of Guard Police on August 14 organized the opening ceremony of a training course on Youth Union work and youth movements.

The course running from August 14 to 18 with various contents and different activities aimed to help Youth Union cadres fully understand the role of the Youth Union organization in the political system. Additionally, to the trainees are equipped with professional skills and methods to carry out youth’s activities as well as to overcome shortcomings in the past time.

This is also a chance for officers in charge of Youth Union organizations of guard police units to meet and exchange their experience, apply their acquired knowledge into practical activities of their units.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Pham Tien Cuong, Deputy Commander of the High Command of Guard Police highlighted that the High Command in the past years had proved its important position and role in protecting leaders of the Party and State, ensuring national security, social order and safety. He added that the youth organizations, with their total membership making up half of the whole troops of the Guard Police force, had made great contributions to the achievements of the unit.

He also asked the trainees to well perceive the responsibility, important role and position of the Youth Union work and youth movements in the current period. He also hoped that after the training course, the Youth Union’s cadres would continuously innovate their working methods and take effective measures to overcome shortcomings so as to make a fundamental change in the work of the youth.
