Ha Giang police build new home for people affected by natural disaster

PSNews - The Ha Giang Provincial Police Department in coordination with the local authority organized a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a new house to the family of Ms. Trieu Mui Vien in Minh Ha village, Tan Lap commune, who has lost her home in the recent floods and landslides, on August 19th, in Bac Quang district.

The new house was built on the foundation of the family’s old house, and its construction cost was covered by the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department.

Thanks to the effort of the local police, authority and people, the new house was completed as scheduled, meeting all quality requirements.

Receiving the new house and gifts from leaders of the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department, the family sincerely thanked the local police and authority for their support, saying that the new house will surely help them stabilize their life and work after the natural disaster.

In recent times, aiming to ease difficulties of local families who have lost their homes due to natural disasters, the Ha Giang Provincial Police Department has directed its subordinate agencies and units to build 14 new houses for calamity-affected families in Bac Quang districts, Hoang Su Phi district and Meo Vac district.

The building of new homes for families affected by natural disasters demonstrates the good spirit of “The police always appear to help people in need”.
