Ha Giang provincial police check security protection work in border localities

A delegation of the Provincial Police Department of Ha Giang, led by its Director Senior Colonel Phan Huy Ngoc visited and checked security protection work in 4 mountainous border communes of Yen Minh and Meo Vac district on October 7 and 8.

The delegation visited Na Khe and Lao Va Chai communes of Yen Minh district, Thuong Phung and Sung Tra communes of Meo Vac district.

At the meetings with the local authorities, Senior Colonel Phan Huy Ngoc asked the communal police officers to cement solidarity, support each other and overcome all difficulties to fulfil their tasks.

He also asked the local police force to render support to people in need, particularly ex-prisoners and disadvantaged households. They should coordinate with other forces, such as the border guard, to strictly manage and control illegal immigration, and conduct joint patrols along the borderlines to ensure security and order in the border localities.

The delegation presented VND 60 million to support the construction of new houses for two needy families in Lao Va Chai and Sung Tra.

They also visited an interdisciplinary pandemic checkpoint in Lung Thang village, Xin Cai commune, Meo Vac district, inquired after the health and living condition of the police and border guard officers on duty and encouraged them to overcome all difficulties to accomplish their assigned tasks.
