Ha Nam police asked to take drastic measures to prevent crime

PSNews-The Ha Nam Provincial Public Security Department held a conference to review its work of 2016 and release the working plans for 2017.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security and leaders of Ha Nam province attended the event.

In the year of 2016, Ha Nam police with the spirit of “Proactive Security” promptly recommended policies on security and order and solutions to arising issues relating to social security, religion and environment to authorities at various levels.

With their remarkable achievements in local police work, the provincial police were awarded the Emulation Flag for Excellent Unit by the Ministry of Public Security. Particularly, 9 individuals and teams under the provincial police were honored by the MPS and the provincial People’s Committee.

Addressing the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh and Nguyen Dinh Khang, Secretary of Ha Nam Provincial Party Council, praised and appreciated the achievements and good outcomes obtained by the Ha Nam provincial police force in recent years. He believed that the achievements have contributed to successfully ensuring local security and order and creating a stable environment for economic development.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh, urged the provincial police to focus on improving the quality of basic operational tactics, enhancing intelligence, research, analysis and forecast of situations; to actively ensure security and order in the province, especially in critical areas; and to strengthen political dissemination and education as well as Party building work and personnel organization.

He also asked the force to take drastic measures to prevent and suppress crimes, especially non-traditional and newly emerging crimes, such as organized, cyber, high-tech and environmental crimes. Additionally, the Ha Nam police need to uphold its leadership and command at all levels; and continuously renew emulation and award work, contributing to accomplishing their assigned tasks.
