Ha Nam Police urged to step up administrative reforms

PSNews – The Ha Nam Provincial Police Department on January 30 held a conference to review its task performance in 2017 and to deploy its new working plan for 2018.

The event saw the participation of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security and leaders of Ha Nam province.

In 2017, in spite of complex developments in the local security and order situation, the Ha Nam Provincial Police successfully fulfilled its task of advising authorities at all level to mobilize the comprehensive strength of the whole political system and direct local forces to maintain local security and order effectively.

The Ha Nam Provincial Police actively and continuously launched effective emulation movements with innovative contents, forms and took practical measures to attract the participation of many officers.

Over the past year, the Ha Nam Provincial Police has gained many positive results in implementing the “For National Security” movement. As a result, 1000 individuals and groups of the force have been honored with noble awards by the President, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Public Security.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son emphasized that the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security decided that 2018 will be the year for the Ministry of Public Security Forces to reorganize and streamline the forces for effectiveness and efficiency.

Therefore, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son urged the Party Committee and the Directorate of the Ha Nam Provincial Police to continue seriously implementing Resolution 4 of the 12th Party Central Committee on Party building and the Politburo’s Directive No.5 on enhancing the movement “Studying and following the thought, morals and style of Ho Chi Minh.”

The local police force also asked to thoroughly grasp the serious conclusion of the Minister of Public Security and the directions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the 73rd National Conference of Public Security.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also requested the Ha Nam Provincial Police to further improve the efficiency of its basic professional work in fighting hostile forces and crimes, enhance the efficiency of its state management of security and order, and step up the administrative reforms in order to better serve the people.
