Hai Duong police honor good examples in emulation movements

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended a meeting hosted by the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department to praise typical examples in the emulation movement "For Homeland Security" and the movement “All people protect the national security” in the period of 2015 - 2020.

Over the past five years, the provincial police have comprehensively implemented and continuously renovated the forms and contents of the two movements.

As a result, an increasing number of local people have joined the political system in protecting national security and public order and safety in the province. Local people have been encouraged to report crimes to the local police forces. With their support, to the local police forces have detected and successfully investigated nearly 6,000 cases.

Many teams and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement have been awarded by the Party and State.

At the meeting, under the authority of the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang awarded the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister to the Thanh Ha District Police Station, Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security to 12 excellent teams and individuals.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, presented Certificates of Merit from the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee to 15 teams and individuals.

Also at the meeting, Senior Colonel Le Ngoc Chau, Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police Department, awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 outstanding teams and individuals.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang recognized and praised the achievements made by the Hai Duong provincial police in the past years and congratulated the teams and individuals honored at the meeting.

The Deputy Minister also emphasized some key tasks that the Hai Duong provincial police should implement in the time to come, with a focus on promoting the emulation movement "For Homeland Security" in couple with the emulation movements launched by the Ministry of Public Security.

He asked the local police to closely coordinate with the local military forces and authorities at all levels to strengthen the “All people protect national security” posture, as well as to increase professional training for police officers and soldiers from the grassroots level.
